An interview with German podcast [un]scharf - der Fotopodcast
I'm sharing my insights on the [un]scharf podcast about my journey, brand philosophy, and our recent Denmark workshop beyond industry trends.

I recently had the pleasure of being a guest on the German podcast [un]scharf – der Fotopodcast, hosted by my good friend Jens, first member of our Sturmgilde and whom some of you might also know from Lach- und Liebesgeschichten. It was such a fun and insightful conversation, and I’m really happy to share it with you.
In the episode, we dove into my personal journey into photography — how it all started, how I came to weddings and what I miss most about that time. We also touched on current trends in wedding photography and how the industry is evolving, and why I love elopements with couples who want to step away from the norm and celebrate their day in a way that truly reflects who they are.
Of course, we also talked about Sturmsucht — what the name means, why I chose it, and the philosophy behind my work. It’s always special to be able to speak about the values and intentions that guide me, especially with someone who understands the industry from the inside.
And with spoke about the See.Feel.Create. workshop I co-hosted this March in Denmark with Björn from Hafenliebe. We spent a few days by the Atlantic coast with a small group of creatives, sharing meals, deep conversations, and photo sessions in wild weather. It was all about creativity, connection, honesty, and being present. You can find the full recap here on the blog.
If you’re curious about how I work, what drives me, or if you just enjoy thoughtful conversations about photography and creative life in general, this episode is definitely worth a listen.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did recording it. Let me know what you think!
